Tapping into Beginner Private Art Lessons in Maine
My name is Christopher Reed, and I’m a Maine-based fine artist.
For years, I’ve taught others how to reach their highest creative potential.
My private instruction is available for beginners and experienced painters like yourself who want to refine their skills. I offer a unique approach that combines skilled and conventional painting techniques with a mindfulness and experimental practice.
I also offer lessons in various formats beyond private instruction, such as group classes and workshops, so that you can find the right fit for your needs and schedule.
Below, I outline the benefits of private lessons for someone like yourself seeking private art classes.
Private art classes allow you to learn at your own pace and have free reign over the direction of your lessons.
I can’t wait to paint with you. Please get in touch with me at any time to arrange a complimentary 15-minute introductory meeting.
The Benefits of Private Art Lessons
Tailored Learning Experience
My private lessons are tailored to your specific needs. You may choose to draw, paint, or use another medium. You can also set the course’s direction and focus on a particular medium in-depth. This individualized approach is not as feasible in a group class setting.
One-On-One Attention
You receive direct guidance and feedback from me, your instructor. This one-on-one approach allows you to receive advice and guidance tailored to your work. You can work at your own pace as you acclimate to the creative process. Specific areas of concern can be addressed in real-time to maximize the learning experience.
Confidence Booster
My teaching style offers positive feedback and encouragement. I aim to provide the utmost support while inspiring you to take risks and face discomfort to learn and grow as a creative.
Explore New Techniques
Private beginner lessons provide a space for exploring new mediums and techniques without the pressure of a group setting. The privacy of one-on-one art lessons offers a safe haven for creating art privately.
We work together to find the best ways of expressing yourself.
Establishing Goals
As your private instructor, I motivate and keep you on track to accomplish your goals. I help you consider your objectives and carefully create a plan of action.
We start by arranging a time to discuss your goals and objectives. Examples may include:
Subject matter
Medium(s)
Techniques
If you want to learn how to paint trees, I will provide images from which you can work. In the warmer months, we can be outside to improve our view of the landscape’s colors and details.
